Cold Climate Disclaimer
Forged iron doors are designed for use in mild and/or
moderate climates and the use of forged iron doors is not recommended in cold
climate applications. While the door panels and frames are polyurethane foam
filled to provide the best insulating properties available, the doors and
frames are not thermally broken. This non-
thermally broken design will allow for heat and cold
transfer from outside to inside and/or vice versa.
Southern Front Doors offers no warranty as to the suitability
of using this product in a cold climate. Condensation and frosting is possible
and in fact likely to occur when installed in cold climates. Below is a U.S.
map with "frost line" as defined by state. States in blue typically
have harsher winters and therefore are classified as cold climate states.
